Gooding #11F1 Color a rather
dirty dull looking lilac-rose. All lettering and the circles in the lower
corners much too small. There are only two of the vertical ornaments at each
corner, left and right, instead of two and a half. An old but not dangerous
forgery. Known unused or cancelled. Largest
Known Multiple: Block of 6 (Don Peterson Collection) Gooding #11F2 Framed single variety. The ornaments in the
vertical side labels do not match those of any of the genuine stamps. The
background of circles is very coarse, even to the extent of having horizontal
wavy lines in the bottom right corner. Margins around the stamp are large.
Known in tete-beche format. Exists in unused and used condition. Largest Known Multiple: Block of 4 (Nigel
Gooding Collection). (Same die as Gooding #10F1) Gooding #11F3 A rather crude forgery. The second ‘O’ in ‘CORROES’ is very
rounded. The ‘F’ in ‘FRANCO’ is lower than the other letters. Known with bogus
Baeza circular date cancellations. (Same die as Gooding #10F4). This
forgery exists with the ‘Habilitado por la Nacion’ Overprint, (Gooding
#28F4) |
