It was also used for heavier domestic mail with weight between two ounces and two-and-a-half ounces, with an extra 5-Cuartos charged for every half ounce or part of half ounce thereafter. In addition, paid the charge for double weight overseas rate to Spain which came into effect from June 1, 1855.

Comment: Genuine 2-reales stamp affixed to cover and tied with two bogus Parrilla cancels. Most like a genuinely used pre-stamped cover from Manila to Cadiz, tampered by adding the 2-reales stamp indicating payment of double weight rate to Spain.
