Bulacan (28 October 1859) manuscript date, with response from Tribunal of Baliuag (29 October 1859) manuscript date. Vertical filing fold on right and some toning otherwise a nice and interesting cover.

Scott 1. Mint (NG). 1854 5c Orange with average margins, somewhat tight on right but clear of frame line. Minor thins on reverse and evidence of oxidation causing colour to be somewhat dull in appearance. A very difficult stamp to find in unused condition. Scott Cat $4,000.

Scott 10 Cover. 1859 5c Vermilion on small cover to the Mayor of Bulacan. Stamp affixed on bottom left with no cancellation. It is possible (but no evidence as such) that this was sent from a non-Manila origin where both post offices did not have any cancellers at hand. Some minor toning noted for accuracy. Sold As Is.

Scott 36 (2) Cover. Pair of 6-2/8c HPLN stamps paying single weight rate to Spain on cover from Manila to Madrid, via Suez. Stamps tied with Parrilla cancellation and Manila Star (26 October 1870) Circular Date Stamp alongside. Madrid (15 October 1870) red Receiving Circular Dated Backstamp. Roughly opened with tears on back flap and a couple of dings on top edge. Very appealing cover.

Scott 37 (2) Cover. 12-4/8c HPLN stamp paying single weight rate to Spain on cover from Manila to Madrid, via Marsella. Stamp tied with Parrilla cancellation and Manila Star (12 April 1868) Circular Date Stamp alongside. HPLN overprint applied Vertically, Reading Downward. Vertical centre filing fold otherwise a beautiful looking cover. A similar cover was sold in July 2023 at Soler y Llach for 420 euros.

It is believed that this forgery was copied from the Surigao CDS but was misspelt when produced. The same centre date is common to this forgery. Excellent reference stamps.

HongKong and Shanghai Banking Corporation (Manila) return address on reverse. Dalbeattie (15 February 1938) Receiving Circular Date Stamp on bottom left front. Vertical centre filing fold (clear of stamps) and minor edge creasing, common on covers from this period. Stain on bottom left and tape toning on reverse of cover. Interesting cover with scarce destination.

Great multiple stamp usage and would make a nice feature cover.
