Stamps tied with Manila Foreign Registry Agency Wavy Line departure cancels. 18 February 1939 Rectangular Boxed Registration handstamps on reverse. Numerous transit and arrival cancels on reverse. This cover was carried on the westbound services of Imperial Airways from Singapore to Athens. It was then carried by a Short S-23S Empire Class Flying Boat named Challenger (two months later, this plane crashed and was damaged beyond repair).
