One small pin hole on right side of bottom right stamp, otherwise very fine. Extremely scarce to find this issue in large multiples, this being one of the larger ones seen to date. Very fine.

Scott 39 FORGERY. Mint (OG, NH). 1871 5c Blue Miguel Segui Forgery. Centred high, with fresh colour. An excellent example of this dangerous forgery. Much scarcer than the imperf reprints. Lovely addition to any specialist collection or for reference.

Mint (Dry OG, HR). 1871 Complete Set. 5c, 10c, 20c with very fresh colour and lovely appearance. 5c with a couple of blunt perfs on top. 40c a very dangerous FORGERY, with minor disturbed gum, causing duller appearance. An interesting set and great specialist lot for the 40c forgery.

Selvedge with some toning and a couple of hinge remnants on bottom, all clear of stamps. Horizontal fold between stamps. A scarce multiple and moreso as a corner block. Exhibition quality.

This was ceased when the issued Postage Due stamp went on sale from October 14, 1942.

This flight was at request of the Philippine Government to perfect an air map of Luzon. The plane left Del Carmen (Pampanga) on 18 December 1931 and returned to Stotsenburg on 19 December 1931. Departure, transit and Receiving cancels from Del Carmen, Iba, Bayombong and Fort Stotsenburg. Some toning noted, but does not detract the overall appearance of this scarce cover. Seal. Mint (NG). 1c Voluntary Tax Seal for the Hospital Espanol de Santiago, Manila. Vibrant colour and well centred.

Hospital Espanol de Santiago was founded in 1902 in Manila by the Spanish community as an infectious hospital for the hospitalisation of Spaniards who, having to comply with sanitary regulations concerning compulsory hospitalisation, preferred the services of this hospital rather than those of the public San Lazaro Hospital.

Esperanto Stamp Collars. Green (2c) with right selvedge and Red (4c) seals intended to have the 2c Rizal and 4c McKinley stamps affixed to the centre, then applied onto the envelope before posting. These were sold by the Filipina Esperanto Association for fundraising purposes. 4c with cut perfs on top otherwise a very nice duo. Scarce to find both of these, the 4c being the harder one to find.
